Please include the tubing diameter, length, color of tubing, color of print, shrink ratio and approximate amount of each print to be quoted.
We strive to get you a quote within 1 hour of normal business hours.
We accept many formats: tiff, eps, bmp, jpg and gif.
If you are sending an image that's not on this list, please give us a call to ensure we can work with it. For jpeg, save your image using the best quality. Please make sure the image is 600dpi. For best results send your image format in black and white only not grayscale and to the correct size.MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY.
25 pieces for single sided print of the exact same item or 100 pieces for 2 sided prints of the exact same item. Minimum line item amount $25.00.

HOW PERMANENT IS THIS IMPRINTING?
Black printing on light colored tubing is permanent and meets MIL-M-81531 for both abrasion and solvent resistance. also meets SAE-AS5942 and fluid Resistance MIL-STD-202G, Method 215J. Black printing on black tubing also meets this spec but is not recommended, for obvious reasons. See, you do learn things by reading fine print.The print permanence of White, Blue, Red, Gold and Silver print does not precisely meet the MIL Spec, but they are tough enough for 99% of all applications.

NEVER OVERLOOK THE OBVIOUS OR THINGS ARE NOT AS BIG AS YOU THINK THEY ARE:
Fine detail and/or ornate graphics might not look good at 600 DPI resolution. Also, when you shrink the tubing, the imprinted image shrinks with it. In other words, if you think 8 point type is small now, imagine it after the shrinking! In addition, really good shrink tubing (which is the only kind we use) shrinks mostly its diameter not its length. So, the imprinted stuff on the label will end up looking a little "squashed." You may want to stretch the vertical aspect (do not exceed maximum height guide) to match the amount you'll be shrinking the tubing for your specific application. Even though 2 to 1 ratio tubing will shrink to 1/2 its original diameter and our special 3 to 1 ratio heat shrink tubing will shrink down to 1/3 of the original diameter, the actual diameter after shrinking will depend on the diameter of the object you are shrinking the tubing over.MAXIMUM HEIGHT GUIDE FOR IMPRINT.
The tubing is flattened for printing, the following are height guide dimensions for each diameter of tubing.
All your imprinted image must fit within the height guide dimensions. This is also known as the "live graphic height".
*NOTE
In all cases when referencing a certain size, we always refer to the inside diameter before shrinking.
- Our cutting capabilities depend on length and diameter, tolerance for single sided is routinely +/- 0.050 but for drawings we state +/- 0.100".
- 2 sided can be +/- 0.100 but for drawings we state +/- 0.150". Same goes for logo placements from side A to side B.
- French cuts can occur with up to a 15° angle.
LENGTH of HEATSHRINK™?
The size of text is measured in "points." A point is 1/72 of an inch. Here are the available point sizes of type and how many characters (approximately) will fit on single 1" lengths of tubing and how many characters (approximately) will fit.

HEAT SHRINK:
Shrink ratio of 2 to 1. Very flexible, flame
retardant polyolefin.Shrink temperature: 90ºC/190ºF, a hair dryer works fine (compared to other brands that require 121ºC/250ºF)
Longitudinal change during shrinking: less than 5%. Operating temperature -55ºC/-67ºF to 135ºC/275ºF up to 200ºC/392ºF for short durations. UL and CSA recognized.
MIL-23053-5 class 1 and class 3.
