1) Sumitomo Electric DPX-1 Tape is a polyamide type hot-melt adhesive compatible with Sumitube® polyolefin and dual-wall heatshrinkable tubings. 2" wide .012" thick.
2) DPX-1 Tape develops good adhesion to polyolefin, PVC, EVA, copper and aluminum. It is not recommended for use with Kynar or other fluoroplastic substrates.
3) DPX-1 Tape is intended for use when extra adhesive may be needed for a heat shrinkable tubing application. Examples include areas between wires in larger bundles and on the ends of larger diameter heat-shrink products that may not be available with pre-coated adhesive. 4) The operating temperature range is -55o C to +110o C.
